On December 9, at Linh Dam Junior High School (Hoang Mai District), the Hanoi Youth Union and the Hanoi Children's Council, in coordination with Cau Vong Media and Education Joint Stock Company, held the Closing Ceremony and Award Presentation for the "Together, We Step in Cyberspace 2024" contest.

The contest was held on the online platform https://cuocthi.dqvietnam.edu.vn/, with two categories: individual and team. The individual category consisted of two rounds: the preliminary round, "Conquering the Challenge," from June 24 to August 24, 2024; and the final round, "Talented Digital Citizen," held on September 21–22, 2024. The team category ran from June 24 to September 21, 2024, and involved creating an original dance to the theme song "Safe Online with DQ Hero," filming a video, and posting it to the Hanoi Children's Council's fanpage.

The contest was carried out across 30 districts, towns, and municipalities citywide, with 976 elementary and junior high schools participating and 13,422 students competing individually. 53 schools took part in the team category, submitting performance videos set to the contest's theme song "Safe Online with DQ Hero," which drew 262,000 views and 106,000 interactions and shares on social media.

Following the competition rounds, the individual first prize went to Nguyen Khac The Long, a 5th-grade student (Class 5A5) at Phuc Loi Elementary School (Long Bien District); the team first prize went to the DQ Hero A9 dance group from Linh Nam Elementary School (Hoang Mai District).
