The Center for Child and Community Health (CAC) was established with the mission of building a comprehensive Education–Healthcare ecosystem for children and the Vietnamese community.
On May 14, in Hanoi, the launch ceremony of the Center for Child and Community Health (CAC) officially took place, with the presence of the Leadership Board of the Vietnam Association for Community Health Education, the Leadership Board of the Institute for Potential Human Development Research, representatives from the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (HanoiSME).
The event not only marked the founding of a human-centered model connecting education, healthcare, and community development, but also opened a journey of spreading sustainable humanistic values - working together to nurture future generations and improve the quality of life for the Vietnamese community.

Completing the Education–Healthcare Ecosystem for the Community
Building on the foundation established by Rainbow Media and Education Joint Stock Company, the Center for Child and Community Health (CAC) was founded with the goal of becoming a bridge connecting research, education, healthcare, and community activities.
The Center for Child and Community Health (CAC) operates under the Vietnam Association for Community Health Education (VACHE), with a mission to research, connect, and implement programs aimed at the comprehensive development of children, while also contributing to improving the quality of life for the community.

In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hong Quan - former Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, former Minister of Construction, and Chairman of the Vietnam Association for Community Health Education - presented the Establishment Decision for the Center for Child and Community Health (CAC) to the Center's Executive Board, officially marking the founding of this organization on its journey of serving the community.
In a modern society facing new challenges related to children and public health, the establishment of CAC is expected to contribute to the development of long-term, sustainable, and practically grounded solutions.
Two Strategic Pillars for Sustainable Development

In line with its development orientation, the Center for Child and Community Health (CAC) concentrates its resources on two strategic pillars: child development research and community health.
In the field of child development research, CAC aims to provide comprehensive education in mind, body, and life skills; promote a culture of reading; build green, safe, and friendly school environments; and accompany children through the digital age.

This is considered a long-term direction aimed at nurturing a generation of young people who are not only knowledgeable but also possess a healthy mental foundation, adaptive skills, and a strong sense of responsibility toward the community.
Under the community health pillar, CAC focuses on implementing school health models, providing healthcare for the elderly, and promoting intergenerational connections within families and society.
This direction reflects the Center's comprehensive approach to building a healthy community - one where both children and the elderly receive care, attention, and connection through sustainable humanistic values.
Connecting Schools, Businesses, and the Community
One of the highlights of the launch ceremony was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Center for Child and Community Health (CAC) and the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (HanoiSME). This activity is regarded as an important first step in connecting schools, businesses, and social organizations in education, healthcare, and community development initiatives.
Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Mac Quoc Anh - Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, and Chairman of the D79 Economic Alliance - shared: "I believe CAC should not simply be a research center in the narrow sense, but should become a platform connecting social resources: linking experts with schools, businesses with communities, knowledge with action, and compassion with professional organizational methods."

Through this event, CAC hopes to bring together regulatory agencies, experts, businesses, schools, and social organizations to jointly build a comprehensive education–healthcare–community ecosystem centered on human development. At the same time, the Center aims to spread a spirit of community responsibility and promote sustainable values for future generations.
Spreading Humanistic Values in a New Era
The establishment of the Center for Child and Community Health (CAC) reflects a growing trend toward combining education, healthcare, and community activities to create positive, lasting impacts on society. Particularly as children increasingly need to be equipped with life skills, mental health support, and the ability to adapt to the digital environment, and as the elderly require greater attention in an aging society, interdisciplinary connection models like CAC are expected to play an increasingly important role.

Mr. Le Nhu Long, Chairman of the Center's Management Board, affirmed: "The beginning of CAC today is a continuation and development of the dedication that those working in education and community health care have devoted over many years. We understand that the journey ahead still holds many challenges. But with the companionship of ministries, departments, and agencies, the support of experts, and the trust of businesses, I firmly believe that CAC will excel in fulfilling its mission."
Guided by a vision of development rooted in Vietnamese intellect and a spirit of service to the community, CAC aims not only to implement practical programs but also to spread humanistic values, contributing to building a healthy, compassionate, and sustainably developing community for the future.

The Center for Child and Community Health (CAC), operating under the Vietnam Association for Community Health Education (VACHE), was established under Decision No. 31/2026/QĐ-TWH, signed on February 8, 2026, by the Vietnam Association for Community Health Education.
