Building on the success of its digital skills training program for the elderly, on July 14, 2026, the Center for Child and Community Health (CAC) held the Award Ceremony for the "Connecting the Joy of Technology" competition. This marked a milestone confirming the strong impact of the community education project initiated by CAC.
From Practical Knowledge to a Creative Playground
After just two inspiring sessions covering practical content such as techniques for taking radiant photos, basic photo editing, and getting familiar with digital platforms, the elderly participants at the KiGi Community Health Care Club underwent a truly impressive transformation. The "Connecting the Joy of Technology" competition was organized as a hands-on "graduation exercise," where participants applied what they had learned to capture happy moments with themselves and their families.

Confidence in the Digital Era
No longer unfamiliar with smart devices, the entries submitted to the Organizing Committee brought great surprise through their remarkable creativity and ability to keep pace with current trends. At the award ceremony, the beaming faces of participants holding their prizes stood as the most convincing proof: when education is designed with empathy, the generational gap and technological barriers can be fully bridged.

Spreading the Message of "Living Happily, Healthily, and Modernly"
Each winning entry was more than just a photo or video - it carried a message of love and served as a bridge helping the older generation connect more deeply with their children, grandchildren, and community. The success of this competition affirms CAC's sound direction in building learner-centered training models, turning technology into a tool for improving quality of life.

An Educational Vision for a Sustainable Society
Speaking at the ceremony, a CAC representative emphasized: “The positive transformation of our participants after this course is a tremendous motivation for us to stay committed to our mission of providing comprehensive care for the elderly. A sustainable society is one where older people are not only cared for in terms of health, but are also supported to confidently take charge of their lives in the digital era.”
In the time ahead, CAC will continue to expand its digital skills training projects, combined with in-depth project models, aiming to optimize quality of life and provide comprehensive protection and care for its two priority groups: Children and the Elderly.
