In order to promptly recognize and honor students who achieved outstanding results in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, the Cau Vong Tuoi tho publication of Education & Times Newspaper, in partnership with Tung Viet Media Co., Ltd., has officially launched the program "Honoring the Top 5 Highest-Scoring Students Nationwide in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam."
This is a meaningful initiative that not only honors outstanding individuals but also helps spread a spirit of diligent, sustained learning, aiming to inspire a love of learning and encourage the determination to strive for excellence among students nationwide. At the same time, the program serves as a tribute to the schools and teachers who have consistently guided and supported students on their educational journey, helping them achieve results they can be proud of.

Recognition Details:
The Top 5 Highest-Scoring Students Nationwide will receive:
- Recognition published on the Education & Times online newspaper.
- A Certificate for Top 5 Highest-Scoring Students Nationwide, 2025 High School Graduation Exam.
- A physical prize from Tung Viet Media Co., Ltd.: 1 TV TECH-brand laptop (i5, 16GB RAM, 512GB storage), valued at VND 13,000,000.
Tribute to Schools and Teachers: Alongside honoring the top-scoring students, the program also expresses gratitude to the schools and teachers who directly mentored and guided them:
- Each school (elementary, junior high, and high school) attended by one of the Top 5 students will receive one mozaWeb 3D Digital Library, valued at VND 789,000,000 per school level. This is a modern educational support solution designed to enable vivid, visual teaching and help improve education quality.
- Each homeroom teacher who guided one of the Top 5 students at any grade level will receive a gift worth VND 1,000,000, as a heartfelt thank-you for their quiet contributions to the work of nurturing students.
Timeline:
- Application period for award consideration: July 21–30, 2025
- Review period: July 31 – August 10, 2025
- Announcement of the Top 5 Nationwide: August 11, 2025
- Award ceremony: August 15, 2025
Recognition Rules:
1. Selection criteria for the Top 5 Nationwide:
- The 5 candidates with the highest combined scores across 4 subjects (Math, Literature, and 2 elective subjects) will be selected.
- Priority points are not counted.
- No distinction is made based on the educational program followed.
- In case of a tie, the following tiebreaker criteria will be applied in order:
- Priority given to the candidate admitted to their top-choice university with the highest entrance score.
- If still tied, priority given to the candidate with outstanding extracurricular achievements or provincial/national/international awards (with supporting evidence).
- If still tied, priority given to the candidate who achieved the "Excellent Student" title for all 3 years of high school.
- Finally, if still tied, academic performance across all 12 years of schooling will be considered.
2. Application requirements:
Application file: Score certificate, national ID card, evidence of achievements, school transcript/report card, and information on schools, classes, and homeroom teachers for all 12 years of schooling (elementary, junior high, and high school).

3. Notes:
- Candidates bear full responsibility for the honesty and accuracy of their application. Information will be verified against official data from the Ministry of Education and Training. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to deny an award if discrepancies are found or validity cannot be confirmed.
- The official list of the Top 5 Nationwide, along with the schools and teachers receiving awards, will be announced on the Education & Times online newspaper after the selection and verification process is complete.
- Each student may receive the award only once under this program.
Conditions for awarding gifts to schools and teachers:
- Schools: Applicable to both public and private schools with valid verification via school records or related documents.
- Homeroom teachers: Each homeroom teacher will receive a gift worth VND 1,000,000. If a teacher served as homeroom teacher for the student for more than one year, the amount is calculated as VND 1,000,000 × number of years as homeroom teacher (for example: if Ms. Nguyen Thi A was the homeroom teacher for grades 1 through 5, she would receive VND 1,000,000 × 5 = VND 5,000,000).
Teacher information and the duration of their homeroom role will be verified through school records or confirmation from the school.
