CAC accompanies the elderly in conquering digital technology
In the digital era, access to technology is not only a need for young people but also an important solution to help the elderly maintain social connections, improve mental health, and prevent loneliness. Deeply aware of this, the Center for Child and Community Health (CAC) brought a breath of fresh air through the program "Connecting the Joy of Technology – Guide to Beautiful Photography and Using TikTok."
This was a practical activity designed specifically for members of the KiGi Club, under the Hanoi Health Care Education Center, aimed at helping the elderly confidently integrate into the flow of the times.
Why do the elderly need "Digital Connection"?
Amid the country's ongoing strong digital transformation, popularizing technology skills among the elderly brings extremely practical value. Beyond simply maintaining social connections - helping seniors bridge geographical distance to stay in touch with their children and grandchildren more easily - mastering technology also markedly improves their mental health.
When exposed to diverse information and online communities of shared interests, the minds of elderly people become sharper and more optimistic. At the same time, becoming proficient with digital tools helps them be more proactive in daily life, from staying updated on health care knowledge to confidently sharing meaningful everyday stories.

From "Connecting Joy" to a journey of spreading life values
More than simply conveying technical skills, the program also created an inspiring, creative space for KiGi Club members. CAC's team of experts personally guided the participants through everything from the most basic skills - such as choosing the right camera angle and making the most of lighting to capture radiant shots - to aesthetic photo-editing techniques for preserving beautiful moments with loved ones.

Notably, dedicated support in getting familiar with TikTok and CapCut helped participants overcome their initial hesitation toward new technology platforms. The beaming smiles and enthusiasm of the members stood as the clearest proof that when technology is passed on with empathy, every generational barrier can be broken down.

CAC and the commitment to building a sustainable community
Firmly committed to its mission of serving the community, the CAC Center is affirming its pioneering role in social welfare activities through education and healthcare. Accompanying the elderly in this program is part of a long-term strategic direction aimed at optimizing quality of life for priority groups.
